It is important for you to understand the difference between a plastic surgeon and a cosmetic surgeon. A plastic surgeon is a recognized specialist surgeon who has successfully completed a Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) program in plastic surgery. This program requires a minimum of 8 years training on top of a basic medical degree. Upon completing this training the surgeon will be awarded with a certificate called the Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. It is also known as FRACS. Once the surgeon has this and is regarded fully qualified then they are able to become a member of the ASPS which is short for the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons.

The number of breast augmentations in Australia is definitely on the increase, and the demand for natural-looking breasts is even more apparent. Performing breast augmentation so that the breast has a natural fullness with a gentle slope off the chest wall is difficult to perfect especially on oddly shaped women. Tina Wallman has now become a famous young model doing shoots for Zoo Magazine as well as Ralph, FHM and many others. It is quite amazing how her career has turned around. Before having her breast augmentation she was working in a hair and beauty salon and her career in the modelling and fashion industry was pretty stagnant. It has since blossomed though. She is so happy she did it and has become a promoter of breast augmentation for any girls wanting improve their self confidence and possible their careers as it it did for her.
