Finding the Best Surgeon for Your Breast Enhancement

It is important for you to understand the difference between a plastic surgeon and a cosmetic surgeon. A plastic surgeon is a recognized specialist surgeon who has successfully completed a Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) program in plastic surgery. This program requires a minimum of 8 years training on top of a basic medical degree. Upon completing this training the surgeon will be awarded with a certificate called the Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. It is also known as FRACS. Once the surgeon has this and is regarded fully qualified then they are able to become a member of the ASPS which is short for the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons.

So before going in to a cosmetic clinic do some research on the surgeons that practice their by visiting the Australian Society of Plastic Surgery and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

If the surgeon is a qualified plastic surgeon under these organizations then it just means they have better training, along with a more extensive range of surgical techniques and innovative solutions for difficult reconstructive problems. Plastic Surgeons because of their training have a more comprehensive view of the human body, and are the pioneers and leaders in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
